. . . to Frankenstein Friends

I’d like to take moment to explain a few things to you about the journey you are about to embark on.  By journey – I mean web post.  By embark on – I guess I mean read.  Firstly, our staff of writers are all related.  We did have to adopt one of them, so I wouldn’t exactly give my life for him or anything – but he’s family in the legal sense and nothing really means family like our government deeming it so.  This may cause you to wonder, “So, why are you called Frankenstein Friends?  Why not be called Frankenstein Family?”  And that is a great question.  I’d answer that, but I just thought of it and now I’m wondering whether or not those adoption papers have been finalized.

To be honest, I didn’t think of the name.  I only thought of the question that suggests we change our name.  How about “Frankenstein Friends & Family”?  I guess because it sounds lame.

So – – welcome again to Frankenstein Friends!

We have a staff of writers who are related and contributors who are not.  Since this is our first post, I wanted to explain what our goal for the future of this all encompassing site is, but I’m afraid I will set the bar too high and we won’t be able to live up to our own expectations.  So, our vague intention is to post some things.  Hopefully at regular intervals and hopefully things that are of interest to you.  There will be photos, original short films, podcasts, lots of opinion pieces, and some informative things as well (that are mostly going to be more like opinion pieces with the occasional fact about Higgs Boson).

Our founding Frankenstein Friends are CASUAL KEN, a tech enthusiast and borderline germaphobe with a fondness for all things Nerd; BULL DOG CORNER, a self-proclaimed hilarious person that once saw the star from Kazaam in person; and myself – WAJ MAHAL, their overbearing task master.  Soon enough, you will choose your favorite and dismiss all posts by the others.  We understand and we encourage it.
